About SpeedyMoto
Based in Portland, Oregon, SpeedyMoto manufacturers exceptionally designed, after-market components for Ducati motorcycles, focusing on damage control and ergonomic enhancement. We research, design, test, and manufacture in-house, ensuring the highest quality for every product we release to the market.
For a company that has only recently emerged onto the scene, SpeedyMoto has quickly garnered a worldwide reputation for developing intelligently designed, quality products. Meet the purveyors of fine speed metal:
Spencer T. Houser
Operations, Product Design & Engineering
More than just the head honcho, Spencer "The Awesome One" Houser rallies SpeedyMoto up the path of success as the organization's spiritual superintendent. Revered by his peers, Spencer's lifelong involvement in metalworking and the arts effectuated his regimented-but-fair method of leadership. Skilled in all things metal, not only can Spencer design, weld, machine, and fabricate, but he can also recite the properties of any metal in the periodic table upon request. Outside the metalworking realm, Spencer is a spreadsheet savant. His expertise in modeling virtual business scenarios has proven invaluable to SpeedyMoto's growth. Spencer attended the Rochester Institute of Technology where he studied industrial design, the long-term effects of road salt on American muscle cars, and the virtues of a 2-wheel commute in a 4-wheel society.
A motorcycle enthusiast and racer at heart, Spencer is a member of the Oregon Motorcycle Road Racing Association and former Treasurer of the Dirty Rotten Bastards Sport Bike Club. He lives in Portland with his lovely wife, Caroline, and his darling daughter, Ava.
Christian Hansen
Marketing & Sales
The young buck of SpeedyMoto, Christian Hansen exudes an award-winning personality and a handsome smile. Boasting a butt-load of energy, he's the right guy for this job. Having been involved in the motorcycle industry for practically his entire life, Christian is the go-to guy for any tech or trend questions. He successfully built the SpeedyMoto sales team from the ground up and always provides fast, friendly, fair service to our customers. Christian is an honest salesman (even if he's got to lie) and if something isn't right or a customer has any problem, he bends over backwards to fix it. Working for motorcycle dealerships as well as motorcycle parts and supply stores, Christian has earned the knowledge, contacts, and resources to get the job done effectively and efficiently.
Christopher Rizzo
Product Design & Engineering
Christopher Rizzo-the swarthy, little Italian. SpeedyMoto's ace machinist eats, sleeps, and breaths all things shop. Guardian of SpeedyMoto's infatuation with detail and fine-finish work, he's also responsible for Speedymoto's innovative designs, such as our exclusive Water Pump Housing. Rizzo is the man who turns all of our ideas and design concepts into reality. Having grown up in Buffalo, New York, Rizzo graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology with a degree in industrial design and a hankering for hockey, Labatts Blue, and snooty, East Coast girls. If you ever get the urge to stop by the SpeedyMoto shop in the middle of the night, inside you will probably find the friendliest, most out-spoken, machinist in the industry. And if you ask him, Rizzo will drop whatever he's doing to do a little bench racing with you.
Duc Le
Product Design, Graphic Design & Web Development
Duc (that's pronounced Duke) is the force behind the SpeedyMoto look. A true designer's designer, he's not only responsible for all of our web and print, but he lays claim to conjuring up our innovative triple clamps as well. With the unyielding focus of a master martial artist, Duc is the enforcer of SpeedyMoto's "Keeping it Real" policy. His Zen mastery and mystical eastern heritage entitle Duc to reign as the levelheaded sage within the organization. An early adaptor to technology, Duc wisely dispenses insightful advice, garnered during years of running his own successful graphic design and Web development company. As the head of SpeedyMoto's field testing division, Duc and his 996 have not only rigorously tested the crash worthiness of many of our products, but his legendary racing exploits also inspired our durable water pump housing, clutch cover and pressure plate designs.
A lifelong motorcyclist (starting on the venerable tricycle at age 3), Duc is a member of the Oregon Road Racing Association and a founding member of the Dirty Rotten Bastards Sport Bike Club.
Christopher Ross
Operations & Accounting
Christopher "Rock and Roll" Ross serves as SpeedyMoto's stalwart operations admin. He keeps all the balls in the air through his organizational skills, multitasking abilities, and financial wizardry. Having lived the life of a heavy metal icon complete with all the usual NC-17 rated details, Christopher earned the apt moniker "Rock and Roll." Growing up in the East Coast marine industry, Christopher gained his tenacity as a first mate on a Great Lakes freighter and exercised his methodological thinking while managing a large marine technical systems integrator. The man can drink like a sailor, too. Christopher's management is invaluable to the SpeedyMoto crew, keeping raw material flowing, orders processed, and loan sharks at bay. With Christopher on board, SpeedyMoto keeps afloat.
